Friends of Boyers Orchard
We are a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation called Friends of Boyers Orchard. Our mission is to protect, manage and share the late Bob Boyer’s 1-acre urban orchard in Anchorage, Alaska for the promotion of local sustainable agriculture and for the enjoyment of Anchorage residents and visitors.
Our goals:
- 1. Protect and share the late Bob Boyer’s unique urban orchard.
- 2. Promote local and sustainable food crops with education, sales, and experimentation.
- 3. Manage the garden and orchard space for the enjoyment and benefit of the local community.
